Trick or Treat - Give the Genie Something Good to Eat!

What a great and BUSY Halloween! We started at 1:30pm at Prairie View with the costume parade, "Thriller" and Mrs. Smith's class party! The class party was a hit and the moms that brought snacks did a GREAT job!! We had 'salty bones,' 'apple bits,' caramel and apple kabobs, popcorn, cookies and juice!

After that, Em and I headed down to Wells Fargo and BWA to show off her genie outfit and to do some trick or treating! Each year BWA opens up the office so that employees can have their children come in and trick or treat at each desk! Gretchen puts on a great shi-dig with decorations, pumpkins and a big spread of treats and sweets to get the kids properly sugared up!

After we closed down that party, we headed back up north to Dee and Shayden's new house and had a great time trick-or-treating and visiting with friends. Dee had gotten a Halloween pinata and the kids had a blast! I can't begin to tell you how much candy Em came home with! In true Halloween spirit, following her shower, we emptied out the goody bag and began sorting out her treats! The piles were broken down into what Nana wants to eat, what Daddy wants to eat, what Mommy wants to eat and what is left for Em! Poor Papa has to wait for a low blood sugar and I am pretty sure everything good will be gone by then!!!
