Our Spring Break!

Emily is away this Spring Break so Mike and I took some time off on Friday and we had a whirl-wind Spring Break!

Once Emily got off the bus we started our Spring Break - a movie, dinner at Moon's Mongolian Grill (her new favorite) and ice cream at home! Emily decided that for the day's activities she should dress appropriately! She then comes downstairs wearing last years Easter dress, tights and asks if she could wear her fancy shoes! What could we say! Yes, of course - she looked adorable!

Before we could get started we needed to head over to Aubrey's house to give her a birthday present! Emily was very excited about giving her the new webkin that she had picked out! Aubrey seemed very happy with her new 'pet' and with that we headed out to the movies!

Emily decided she wanted to see Monsters vs. Aliens - 3D. We got to the movie theater, got our glasses and settled in. Doesn't she look so cute in those glasses? We really liked the movie and it was an amazing visual experience. I haven't seen 3-D in forever! They have made such changes in technology - it is crazy. Em settled in and had a great time...every now and then saying "it almost got me!"

Following dinner we headed to Moon's. Em SO loves getting to pick out her dinner, make her own sauce and then watch it cook! She can go through two bowls (albeit small)! When our bellies were full we headed home! It is at this point we tried on our Super Princess costume (that is another blog all together) and practiced flying!!! This was followed up by some ice cream and then a movie in bed! We cuddled ourselves to sleep and wrapped up our great Spring Break Day!!!
