Mike and I SO enjoyed this book! We listened to it on a recent trip to Wenatchee and what great discussions ensued! Did Roe v. Wade impact the 1990's crime rate? What really motivates people - does the extra $150 commission on the sale of your $300k house really motivate your realtor to sell your house at a higher price? What would push a teacher to cheat on education assessment tests? Why do drug dealers still live at home with their Mom's? Do parents that give their children 'creative' names impact their futures?
These questions and then some are presented and discussed in this book. Mike and I saw eye to eye on some topics...but found great areas for disagreement and discussion on others. All in all I felt that this was a well written and researched book.
